Pup Start +
Pup Start+ is the next step for all of our Pup Start Puppy graduates. Puppies graduate from our Pup Start Program at 6 months of age, at which point they are eligible to join our Pup Start+ program. In this program, we focus on proofing obedience behaviors such as loose leash walking and prolonged "place" behaviors with distractions, as well as providing exposure trips to local areas like patios, parks, crowded sidewalks, and high traffic areas.
As puppies approach 1 year of age, we introduce our off-leash platform to proof recall and ensure that it is reliable in a variety of settings. In addition to our internal training, Pup Start+ students will follow an AKC curriculum that prepares them for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Community Canine Certification when they are of age.
Once a puppy graduates into the Pup Start+ program, they have the option to attend on a week-by-week basis, allowing us to plan for their individual needs and preferences. Pup Start parents also have the option to sign up for weekly follow-up classes, which focus on intermediate skills, advanced obedience, and troubleshooting behaviors. Our goal is to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for puppies to learn, grow, and thrive.
Curriculum
Pup Start+ builds upon the foundations established in Pup Start, focusing on behavior proofing and generalization. Our goal is to help your dog earn a Canine Good Citizen Certificate and a Community Canine Certificate.
At 9 months of age, we will introduce off-leash training to our program. Upon enrollment, you will receive a detailed curriculum outlining the training plan for your dog.

All Packages Include 15% off MOJO Dog Co. Purchases. 25% deposit needed for the 12-week program. Programs are "pay as you go".

The full day routine is provided to all owners.
Owner Support
Pup Start+ dog owners will be able to attend an on-going weekly class focused on the on-going development of the dogs in the program. Only Pup Start+ dogs are allowed in this class .
Additionally, all owners receive video tutorials, summary videos and access to our online library available in 2023.

Be a Pup Start Graduate or be 6-9 months of age at time of enrollment.

Puppies enrolling between the ages of 6-9 months will need to complete a minimum of 3-weeks of Pup Start+ to start.
